I know what happens, I still have the scars.
I swerved. Wasn't a City boy though and they weren't drunk (neither was I for a change).
I vowed not to swerve again and maintain course for the soft spot (the ped) but it's hard when years of impulse reaction is to avoid hitting things, soft or otherwise.
It's true mainly for pedestrians, if you are on a quiet bike they stare at you like a cow then step out.
Even worse in my car when it's running on electric. (virtue signalling, don't mention the Tax saving and the 228bhp)
Have you ever had the conversation if a drunk City Boy runs out in front of you do you swerve in front, or behind? Or go straight for him reckoning he will run one way......and what do you say in court if he freezes?
