There's a Cooper S that used to drive pass as I walked to the station that was like that.
Every time I wanted to shout "YOU NEED A REMAP"! But of course they wouldn't have been able to hear me.
On the "loud exhausts saves lives", I think a blip on most bikes is enough and my issue are ones that are constantly loud, rather than when you rag it.
That said, my bike does have an open air intake, when I replace my air filter will probably be a performance one that could be louder and if I had the spare £s I'd get a louder exhaust on my motorbike (obvs wouldn't be straight through and I'd use a baffle).

There's also a mini cooper which looks kinda cool, lowered, wide, blacked out but sounds like a bag of spanners filled with firecrackers through a loudspeaker. Revs it up the road and is proceeded by about 30 loud bangs.
That doesn't sound cool pal, it sounds like your car is running like shit and you're a fucking worstcunt
