Sign in the local pet shop and vet if they'll allow it?

Check any outbuildings if you have them and ask neighbours to do the same. Cats love to sneak into sheds. Found mine once very dehydrated in my own shed once.
I went door to door to every house for about a mile when he went properly missing (weeks). Don't lose faith - try to abduct a similar looking cat if you can, mine only came back after I'd gone that far.

Hmmm, not sure about abducting, cos empathy and all that. Narrowing down the search at the moment but with that comes less possibility....

What area are you in? It might be worth sticking a photo on here - lot's of folk out and about.
Also, happy to help look if you're nearby.

+1 call all your local vets to let them know, and also call the shelters - Celia Hammond, Feline Friends, Cats Protection etc. Do try nextdoor.co.uk in case you haven't already, I see loads of cats reunited with owners on there in my area. Good luck

Maybe obvious, but I've had success walking the surrounding streets shaking a bag of cat biscuits and calling the cats name. (Look like a complete moron but needs must).
First time he'd somehow gotten lost/stuck on a neighbouring street.
Second time I attracted the attention of the person who turns out had 'rescued' him from outside my house and was trying to 'return' him to someone else.

Have you got a local FB group? Lost casts always being found in my old one
My cats gone missing 😭, got home about midday yesterday and no sign. Was away for few days since last Friday (when I last saw her), so could have been missing longer...she had access to get inside for food and water. What actions should I take? Have already put a few notes in the neighbours letterbox and posted few missing cat ads online...
