Does anyone know why these are so cheap? My understanding was that EC90 was an Easton proprietary thing and these have no mention of Easton. Is the simple answer that they're fake and liable to destroy my face?

The EC90 logo gets slapped on any number of no-brand carbon bits. They're not fakes in that they're not actually copying a real EC90 part but they don't have anything to do with Easton.

In days gone by a traveling shyster would have paraded that bike from town to town betting anyone half a crown they couldn't ride it.
