Only if you're using a USB extension cable.

Are you using a USB extension cable?

You need to make sure your ANT+ dongle is a few feet away from your computer.

Update: Usb extender worked.

I was having the same issue with a new mouse that came with a 2.4ghz dongle, usb 3.0 is apparently notorious for causing interference. Whitepaper here .
