People that chummily address you by you surname, in the mistaken belief that it's your first name.
Understandable, given that it's written FirstName Surname in the very email address they've just written to.
Fucking dolt.

I’m clearing out my old time rxs pedals and used cleats stock if you want them, pick up Sw19 or during day in Vauxhall. Let me know if interested and I’ll see what I’ve got

Thank you for the kind offer, but I only use Atacs from Time, and I have about 7 pairs I think!

Also people automatically using the abbreviated form of your name, straight after you’ve introduced yourself with the non-abbreviated form.
I have no problem with friends or people that know me deciding to use whatever version of my name, but asking my name then using something different to what I just said is taking the piss.
And then people act surprised when I correct them. -

I agree Nef.

I already use a shortened version of my name, no-one (except the dot matrix display at the local GP surgery) calls me by my full name.
Yet some people use an even shorter version of it. I'm so unused to it my brain doesn't even respond to it normally.

"James nice to meet you. Can I call you Jim?" You'll be only person who does and I won't answer.
But then my son hates being called Joseph not Joe.
At parents Evening one of his teachers corrected my pronunciation of my own surname.....which is fair enough if you actually speak Goth but I doubt she does.

My sister-in-law has spent the last 10 years calling me a "funny" local version of my first name.
-
• #13737
A different local to Larry?
-
• #13738
Hi Yanne, I'd take Larry any day...
-
• #13739
I'd let that go to be honest.
I have an aunt who thinks it's OK to address me as 'Howie'
Fuck it boils my piss. But it's gone on too long to deal with now.

tell them early and tell them everytime they change your name

Anyone who purposely makes their motor vehicle exhaust louder and then uses it on the road
-
• #13748
Very much this. Why are you putting a "race" exhaust (or whatever it is) on your motorbike when you live in a crowded area? Then do deliveroo until last 11pm, constantly nipping home for a piss (I assume).

Are bikes and cars that are noisy as standard OK?
-
• #13750
They will be outlawed for road use once I come to power.
You can use them on track days, car club meet ups etc etc but use on a public highway is forbidden.
Shit, Decathlon's closed / don't sell Time cleats anymore?
