Intrinsic qualities > perception of the brand

Having said that, I would rather be associated with an everyman watch, than a discount Rolex that has Lady Gaga, the All Blacks and David Beckham as 'brand ambassadors'.

What issue do you have with those people?

None, I'm just poking fun because of the H Samuels reference. Seiko is middle of the road, but Tudor is as well atmo, and their brand ambassadorships don't dispel that view.

My broader point is that I don't really care about brand, I care about the individual watch. Because Seiko make some low end watches, it doesn't detract from their high end watches.
