After going through a phase looking more like this: I still have all these parts so it might change back again when I get bored.

My first foray into geared road bikes many years ago. Frame is long gone now.

Final build before I sold it. I miss the frame, don’t miss 7 speed downtube friction shifting.

Cross post from CP: pinarello pos turned into a weird eroica-esque drop bar frankenbike.

Suppose this should kinda go here? Seatpost was actually down the bottom when I got it but I couldn't physically ride it that low ha -

Abandoned Univega Neuvo Sport
Looked fine at first glance but it needed new wheels, the quill was cracked, plus a bunch of other small things. Thankfully I had everything laying around. It's now a 2x8 friction with Nitto bars and quill, new-ish 700c wheels withe some plush 28mm tires and fenders off an old Phillips. Nice mix of ratty and functional.
Total spent: around $25

Had a lovely Max frame that got slightly dinged in a crash. Sent it back to Lee Cooper for new forks, new top tube and mudguard eyelets.

Built it up like this after the repair/respray and rode it for 6 years before selling it.

I've tried to buy this a couple of times.
I'm not sure where it is any more but it cracked at the top of the seat tube last time it appeared
@jdmitch flip and reverse this shit!
