What time is it? Watches and horology

I nearly bought one of those when they came out (I happened by a watch shop that had one in stock after they all sold out) but I just couldn't decide on it and I still can't.

It’s tiny and like hens teeth unfortunately.

Ooh I just had another look and found one...

I got my g shock bits from MFG on AliExpress. Took a while to arrive but very pleased.

They come up on ebay reasonably regularly. There was one on there recently with box and papers that I regret not going for.

Nah I know. It doesn’t bother me massively (though yeah, I’d probably prefer it wasn’t there) but I totally understand it being a dealbreaker for many people.

Y’all tripping with the black bay stuff. It’s a poor man’s 62MAS. The only thing they’ve done that hints at the BB is use taller rectangular numerals on the bezel, but that’s hardly new to Seiko, eg:

It’s completely different at the side. BB is a slab sided Oyster case with downturning pointed lugs. The Seiko has thin sides that undercut to the caseback and squared off lugs.
