The sub £1,000 market is bereft of bikes in stock at the moment, as my friend is finding out. Any suggestions for a 1x hardtail with hydro brakes in the 650ish price bracket that is in stock somewhere?

Rutland seems to have stock of some cheaper bikes. Not sure if they have something 1x though in that price.

Have a watch of the Guy Kesteven (sp?) video where he rides the RC295- he seems to think the stock shock is well matched, to the extent that he recommends against the upgraded part that Pace offers.
