Cheers :) yap, ideally I want to keep the levers and bar end shifter rather than switching to flatbar levers. Any recommendations for reasonably priced moustache bars with a little drop, wide hooks and flared ends?

You could run nitto albatross' upside down?
They are 55 cm wide and I find they mimick the feeling of the tops of drops very well. Also takes bar-ends. You might have to shim the brake levers though.

That paint job is very good looking!
I think moustache bars are a good shout if you can find a shape that you get on with - they would probably also work with the brake and shifter levers you've already got!
