Really? There's literally a massive button on the right hand side that says "Add/Remove Control Point" If it was any more obvious you wouldn't be able to see the map :P
RWGPS allows you to free-route through anything if you want. That button (Draw Lines) is just above the invisible Add/Remove Control Point button :)

Personally I find RWGPS route planner immensely frustrating. Took me ages to work out how to delete a control point, and it fails to route through some legal off-road routes however many control points I add. Whereas Strava can always be coerced.
