+1 for this. @fizzy.bleach I think you're overthinking it a bit.
I've come across situations like this before and it's never resulted in the tenants being scared off.
i mean it gave you the nudge to start looking elsewhere when you would have otherwise stayed in the property. i don't want to make it seem like i'm giving my tenants a warning, if you follow me. i want them to stay if they're happy to continue renting, or if they're looking to buy, i'd let them know we could work out a favourable deal.
