You will also notice that anyone who gambles that you may know will always tell you when they win "big" but never tell you when they lose, which is a daily occurrence.
Anyway, I hate being force fed the TV / Online advertising related to gambling.
After that, people can do whatever they want, just like alcohol, cigarettes and junk food.

I know a few people who made a living from it. It was actually a full time job though and for the amount of effort they were putting in they could probably have earnt more just doing a normal job.
