  • Pink gorse?

  • I found my plant finally, I think :)

Interestingly it says it's not a houseplant. It would be amazing to see it flower.
Looks also a lot like https://worldofsucculents.com/sedum-cuspidatum/

  • Hi guys! I posted on here a few weeks ago asking for advise on tomato seedlings.
I'm happy to say I had a bunch sprout and now have too many tomato plants make it to about 15cm tall and ready to go outside!
If anyone would like one, I've got around 8 to give away, e3 collection - free of course! Please bring your own pot :)

  • Also anyone know how I can save this guy?
He looked all sad so I reported him. Hes in prime sunlight and watered when needed but seems to still be dying after 3 weeks of intensive care..

  • You found a rescue for that. I have a similar plant that's dying as well. That and my vine just suddenly shriveled up and died for no reason.

  • Our Chinese money plant has a gangster lean because we stopped rotating it when it found a new home on a book shelf. About to repot but has anyone managed to straighten something this far gone?
My guess is it’ll end up looking like the ugliest succulent in the world which we just can’t bear to bin.

  • Both of those look ace, I wouldn't worry about correcting. But if you must, i think you could repot at a tilt?

However if the light comes from another direction for long enough you could carefully sculpt a winding stem. Which would be cool.

  • Panda growing green protective shields out of its skull, amazing!

  • I love the wonkiness of the jade plant. Positive phototropism rules!

  • The panda pot looks maybe a bit small for a plant that size, although I'm not an expert, but if you do report it's the ideal time to rotate the plant to your liking.

  • Avocado seed still growing. Pictures taken about 1 month apart cactus also starting to flower

  • Avocado seed still growing.

What is keeping you from putting it in some potting soil?

  • @NotSafeForSalad When do you plant them in soil?
This is the first time I have tried it with any great success. The online guide said once the stem was 6 inches long. I'm still waiting for the stem to shoot.

  • I suppose different guides say different things; some people even start in moist soil right away.
For me both methods sometimes worked and sometimes didn't.
    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • Yeah I bring my pilea back from all kind of weird angles when i forget to rotate. It has quite a windy stem now which I quite like

  • Positive phototropism

Our Swiss cheese is also performing a slow motion escape...
Lemon grass experiment is almost ready for soil, yet another plant for me to do the indoor outdoor dance with the seasons. Must get a greenhouse.

Thanks for all advice regarding the money plant, will repot and spin around and see what happens.

  • Genuinely amazed how much in just one day the plant as begun to correct, clever little bugger.

Unbeknownst to me my wife ordered a mail order box of (really) random edible seedlings that arrived last month and we’ve been trying to keep them healthy. Today we turned the porch into makeshift greenhouse with improvised trellis for cantaloupe melons. Apparently I’ve got to have a crack at pollinating them tomorrow... low expectations!

  • Love the yellow laser grid climbing things!
    🙂
Bet the two plants are are turning it into a competition who reaches the top first.

  • Thank you. I’m not sure how high they’ll get because we were a bit slow off the mark repotting them but fingers crossed. Mind you it’s a lot of faff for four melons (best case scenario).

  • That’s very cool. Worth the effort just to see them grow, definitely. The wire looks great.

  • 16 years ago this was a houseplant at about 18" but always in the way so I stuck it outside to fend for itself.
It survived and has quietly been getting bigger and bigger - this pic 2 years ago ...
