Totally understand this. For me its the first 10 minutes.
From the splits. Looks like you could break 45 with ease, and go a fair bit quicker.
@Tenderloin- Massage, hot/cold cycling in the morning, elevate, very possibly magnesium (debate ad infinitum). Rest it tomorrow.
@TW I'm sorry to hear this. Esp in LD its difficult to suggest other stuff that fills the running void.
I got to the end of my easy week today, wanting to do around 10k to keep the numbers up a bit. Set off easy and just slowly ramped up to running comfortably at a decent pace. Hit the half-way point (there's something psychological happens here for me, the whole endeavour feels a lot more achievable) and started to push. Ended up with a 30 seconds (strava) PB of 46:18, at a decent HR. Really pleased with it after starting steady and not having set out for a Big Run.
