@hats most people would consider that a good run (myself included!).
You ultra people are bonkers!
I've been feeling a bit knackered/deflated since the end of this week's shifts.
Partially I suspect as the adrenaline has now gone and no longer running on auto (am moving hospital soon so have a little time away from the wards- and this always brings a sense of deflation).
Finally got my act together at 3 to go for a run (I tend to prefer 1st thing, fasted), and just ran a floaty memory lane run around the back parts of Wimbledon Common. There are some truly lovely bits away from all the people.
Wasn't particularly trying to go anywhere, got a little lost, nearly fell over a child, beaming smile the whole time.
Was great. 10/10 would float again.
