Think I’m gonna go for a vagabond, don’t mind the current orange if there’s any left. 29x2 with mudguards, bull moose from CDF and 1x11 SLX I reckon. Like that there no weird standards so all the stuff from CDF will just swap over. Just to decide on what hard wearing, fast rolling but also a little knobbly 29x2 tubeless tyres to go for that don’t cost a fortune....
Do we reckon it would take a 100mm travel fork for occasional mtb jaunts? Struggling to justify the 26r cotics space in the garage considering how rarely I ride it.
I wonder if I should find something similar to move my commuter onto - doing 90% off the road, 30-40% Of that potential pretty tech riding and 60% flat tarmac/canal paths.... the fun bit is pretty rocky and rough but after that it’s a drag... tried riding my 26r cotic soul on it and it was amazing through the woods and quarry but awful on the 3 miles of flat... really thinking a rigid 29r could be perfect.
Vagabond or latitude?
