  • I will be swapping stuff from my basic randonneur frame to my less basic Velo-Orange one soon.
Hopefully routing the cable through the fork leg using existing holes will work.

Question 1: Anynone know if the good looking Son cable is less nice to fiddle trough stuff?

Question 2: I have a Sp Hub, iQ-X and will put an Igaro charger somewhere.
Will need to solder stuff anyway bc I won't be able to have 2 cables (light and Igaro) going to the hub. And the cable on the front light is too short anyway.
Igaro needs to be fixed anyway because I ripped one of the usb things off, so could ask them to put a son plug instead of the screw type I guess.

So, anyone used this Son Coaxial Junction box?

    Is it worth the hassle?

  • Yup done several for customers. There's a guy Peter White cycles has an old looking but surprisingly current page with them.
They come with good shrink wrap but i or too shrink wrap over my shrink wrap, also pack it with dielectric grease, just everything to make sure it survives our wet. Climate.
The junction box and other fittings are excellent, quality of the cable is v high, would love to have a reel of it on hand!

  • Ok, guess I might be spending quite some euros just to connect my lights.
At least the rest is all there already.
