Trouble was my garden spuds were fine, and I was having a lockdown low so arriving at allotment to this almost reduced me to tears.

Some of them will recover ok I reckon. Kicking myself for not using a spare mesh tunnel cloche I have stashed at the allotment.

Fruit cage on point! I picked up two more pallets today so can go about making some more of my brassica covers.

Yeah my Dad has been growing for years and he says there's live plant between buried tuber and surface that'll regrow. Yield might be less and slightly later though. Fingers crossed.

My next project is some similar covers. Ta for the inspiration.
