I tend to use data to match aliases... cookies, IP addresses, login times and browser fingerprints.... but I don't go and out the people behind aliases even when I figure it out. I'll ban the alias, or give them warnings directly when I have proof and something is severe enough (this wasn't)... but I'm not into creating liability for myself by posting publicly. Dull reasons for that, GDPR, Europe, etc.
Seriously though, it is paranoia.

So you know who the alias is, but you won't say what other alias owns it because of GDPR?
Seriously though, it is paranoia.
If you say so. The thing I notice about some folk on here is that they say something pointed and then complain when the get a reply in kind then try to portray that response as unreasonable.
If you read back through the last few incidents I'm referring to its perfectly clear who are the protagonists, and that this is repeated across several years. It's tiresome and unpleasant. And I've been around here long enough to know exactly how your soft touch moderation works when the people in question are known to you...
That said, delete me-I've better things to occupy myself with that this petty shite.
So who are you referring to in that remark?
It's not paranoia if it's something I've already been accused of.
Might help if you don't talk up your sleeve.
