First picture is correct then, so the spoke should come out from centre in the same direction as the arrow? See, I had thought it would be the other way round, that the spoke should be in line with the arrow. The manual wasn't very clear but maybe I'm just being dense.
So which of these is right, just to clarify? you're saying b, I think @danstuff
I've just done my second shakedown of the LB rims I built yesterday, and realised (upon reading the manual in the box) that they're meant to be built in a certain way according to stickers on the rim. Now, typically, both wheels are built differently as in my rush to build them I didn't really think about what the spoke direction sticker meant. I've done 70 miles on them and they're fine, front went out of true by 0.5mm, rear stayed perfect.
Does anyone which way is the 'correct' way? And is it that big a deal that I need to re build one of the wheels? Nipples are polyax so have a rounded head anyway.
