Thanks - the 65 is. 1-5x right? So variable? To clarify i work in video so likely wouldn't have a need for something at that far end but it might be useful to figure out what's what in terms of magnification.
Interestingly though I just saw a review where someone bought it seemingly to scan 35mm slides. Tempting and I've certainly got the time on my hands now to work through about 120,000 exposures of my Provia/Velvia days.
Yes, it’s variable magnification ratio. An often overlooked superb lens, real feat of engineering.
Scanning film like that is a real mess, if you want an archive of x00,000 scanned PM me, we specialise in it.
