Cannondale doesn't strike me as nostalgic, so we're probably at odds here.

Looks refreshing amidst all the gash and uncalled for design flourishes of cycling industry.Not a bad build for a baseline OTP, too. Finishing kit, in particular, looks more fitting/cohesive than most upgrades these frames will see.
Not entirely sure but a CAAD to me always was the successor of the old Saecos of the cipollini era (caad 3to 6 id say)

And those horrible stripes make it even worse
And all that despite the all black parts, which usually has the potential to save almost every build from looking entirely shite
