S / 52cm Town / street / retro mtb whip.

Looking for something small my friend can ride around london and get A-B on. Ideally retro mtb with some fat slicks on. Bonus points for a rack or basket on the front.

Budget around £250.

How tall is your friend? That kona is nice but HUGE! (20”?)

You want to look for a 15-17” frame if you want an equivalent size to a 52cm roadie

Actually just got a message saying they’re 5ft 4. So maybe an equivalent of a 49cm?

That's not my actual Kona, just the same model as that one, but no worries, pink's not for everyone.... Hope you find something Alec....

I ve got a 1990's Trek in a shed that should fit her.

All steel , no suspension and has , I think, rack mounts .

It's partly rebuilt and I have spare 26" slicks as well..

Got a Pink Hahana as well. Size 16" which is a better size. Converted to SS and in good working order.

I love it, but it is taking up space, so can go for donation to NHS or similar. Ride and go from Wallington.

Out of the shed and cleaned up. I'll give it a full check over and post the pictures tomorrow.

Here’s a picture. Cables , chain were new when I last did a refurbishment. It’s not really been used since. I have 7 speed brake and lever sets that will work with it. Currently has a friction set on.
