The Second Litespeed i have had that has cracked ! :( can't get the photo to upload ! - basically a 3'' crack along the left hand side chainstay , but not starting at a weld which is odd

That's weird, I thought the bits that got hot were meant to be the weak bits.

A friend had a frame (not Litespeed) go like that - kinda stepped along the middle of the chainstay, his was replaced (twice possibly) under a lifetime warranty, had certainly done plenty miles but not been hammered
