  • There's a reason why so many wheel builders go for Kinlin rims. The Hed Belgium are also £280 a pair...
    Regarding the stiffness conversation upthread I wouldn't worry too much about the front end, after all keirin riders manage just fine with quill stems on 2500 watts sprints. You'll probably feel the flex from your ST chainset way before the handlebars anyway.

  • There isn’t anything actually wrong with the Kinlins and I am only suggesting the HED’s as that what everyone seems to be doing haha :) But I do know that the build quality on the Hed rims is second to none - they were one of the very first companies to embrace the wide rim of 24mm and everyone followed suit. They are slightly lighter and they build up brilliantly. They seem to be the wheel builders choice and they also have a partnership with Chris King which I think speaks volumes for the quality of the rim
