HI! Up to what tyre clearance do you think this takes? Thanks!
-
• #8
I think they would definitely take a 32, maybe even 35 but I'd have to check. It has 25c on right now and as you can see in the photos there is a lot of room

I've got the same frameset in the same size and same colour and I'm running 700x32C Schwalbe Durano fine. Would not go above 32C really as rear wheel clearance would be tight/it may not work but I guess it depends on the tyre. I love this frameset, it's a workhorse - recommended!

Hi,
can I ask what height you are and what is the C -C measurement?
thanks -

Photo of BB shell (had been trying to find frame number, not there???) and in light of the rusting which I had forgotten about, price is coming down to £400.

I am 5'4" - the downtube is 48 ctc and the top tube is 51 ctc

This is now sold, thanks everyone
SOLD Mercian road/touring build with minimal miles in it. Small frame for someone approx 5'3"-5'6". Located in E5 and I could deliver within London.
Lovely frame and nice parts apart from the wheels that I would recommend upgrading - crazy clearance for anyone wanting to put something chunky on! I did the basic build myself but the bike was then serviced/had gears indexed at Hub Velo.
Frame: King of Mercia (or I was told it was a KoM by seller) metallic green, 19" square, cosmetic is ok barring fade to decal, a scratch to top tube, and a scratch with a small ding on the downtube. The person I bought it off had just used the frame for a round the world tour so it has done a lot of miles and this does show.
Group: Sram rival shifters, Red cranks, Rival front and rear derailleurs and rival cassette
Wheels: cheap/light set of racing wheels, one shimano not sure the other, bought second hand off here as a temporary measure.
Cockpit: new Deda RHM 38cm w/ cinelli caleido tape (new, tape v clean), new ETC stem (75mm I believe)
Brakes: V nice new IRD cantis with basically new pads
Charge spoon saddle on Pinarello seatpost.
Feel free to DM for more info/phots if needed.
Looking for £450
