Nice, but ain’t no way that’s selling for 1 grand.

I think it's probably appreciated in value over the last nine years

Thank you for your messages @Eamesy and @AlexHarvey.
Pricing a custom build is always hard. What I do know is Brands like Surly, White Industries and Hope pride themselves on quality and heritage. They are well made, serviceable and built to last.
I am open to reasonable offers.

Also it's on singletrack classifieds (or it was this morning)

You are asking more for your 9 year old bike than a brand new one costs today. Fair enough it has some nice bits on it, which are genuine upgrades, but presumably these are all used too?
Mind you, you're not alone, someone is looking for £995 for a 61cm on ebay too.

Here come the Surly judgment police.

Given you can pick up a Surly frame on here for 200-250. 800 is a bit steep. You might fair a bit better on eBay. GLWS

Thanks @JT and @AlexHarvey.
For now, I'd rather it go to a bike community like LFGSS then eBay.
Price is negotiable 👍

Trying to get an idea of the size with this setup - can I ask how tall you are?

great advertising, I am sold.
£1000 is alot of money, with no disrespect this is a 500 bike all day IMO

Hi Dirty Harry,
Apologise just noticed a typo, it's a medium-sized frame 56cm (not 59cm). I'm 5'11 and found it perfect.
Thanks

Currently on eBay
Surly Steamroller perfect for road and gravel
£800
Details
Although a single speed this is a capable and comfortable bike, I've done many long rides, from road to gravel, 130 miles once 😁
Clearing some space in my garage and moving to Shropshire from London means those rides now require big gears, very sorry to see this go. This bike is built from the frame up!
I've owned the frame for 9 years, there some minor scuffs and marks to the frame from commuting. There are no dent's or dings. The saddles edges are marked.
The wheelset is set-up and tubeless-ready (tubeless tape and tyres), however, because the bike has been standing I've put inner tubes in. I will include the tubeless valves.
The bike's components (Hope, White Industries, Crane Creek, Surly Hubs etc) are world-class and will last a lifetime (serviced regularly).
Any questions please ask, further pictures available.
