I did, but also looked at handbuilt which led me to Malcolm at CycleClinic. He likes and uses the xr31t. However I'd like to learn to build wheels, and have a relative who works in a LBS so he can teach me. Also thought I'd get more for my money going down that route. So basically that's why I wanted to build using xr31t. Definitely happy to change my mind though re using those rims. I'm looking for mid deep stiff wheels. Already have the hubs, yes 9-11 (OS? Original silver?) in silver and will have a budget of about 200-300 to get the rims and spokes etc
Considered getting 9/10sp period factory built wheels? Nucleon/Neutron are rather nice.
I assume you have the silver OS Record hubs? Those really deserve some nicer looking rims than xr31t.
