Got a (what I think) is a decent deal over the weekend on Steam for the 'Square Enix Eidos Anthology'. Whole load of games that I'd skipped over when they came out and others that I played back then and will happily play again for <£30.
Loaded up Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider (the first of the re-boot ones) and enjoying them both so far.
Looking forward to playing the first 3 Just Cause games again as have great memories of those. Also can't wait to replay all of the original Tomb Raider games, never really was very good at them as a kid so will enjoy getting through them now. And then the three Dungeon Siege games will be a good trip down memory lane too.
Whole load of other stuff that didn't necessarily take a fancy but will give them a go if I find nothing else to play at some point in the future.
Worth a look to see if the offer is still going on. -

Anyone play Apex Legends on ps4? my psn is hatbeard
I downloaded it last week and probably going to pick up the new season pass tomorrow but finding it painfully hit and miss with matchmaking. I suck but definitely not as much as some of the people I'm getting paired with.
Did manage to get a win yesterday though.

I downloaded both but havent fired up warzone yet. something about CoD always felt off when I've ventured into the online play in the past but was going to give it a go in june when the season restarts though.

It's pretty good fun but it really depends on where the final circle is and how attentive your team mates are. They don't even need to be good, just not complete idiots.

Speaking Warzone vs Apex.
Going back to Apex today. Had a little break from it for past few weeks playing Warzone.
But now finished with Warzone.
There’s almost no skill required in this game.
All these cluster bombs, super here/super fast melee (today landed way ahead one guy, picked up uzi, shooting the guy landing and when he landed and he bashed me with fists within 0.5 second - I did 191 damage to him), instead of Gulag being fair “hardcore” 1v1 with weapon, they include explosives (again, not really skill based), easy car/helicopter kills.
Not even talking about server issues, cheaters, bugs and cross play between PC/Xbox.
Yeah it’s satisfying to destroy PC player with controller occasionally not being able to switch it off and play just with Xbox or PS4 is stupid... (that’s where PS4 players are in luck, they can switch cross play off).Apex is far more superior in every way in my eyes...
EDIT:
But must say, had fun with Warzone too.
Introduced lots of cool new mechanics for BR. -

Nintendo have had my b0rked joy con for a while and it doesn't look like it'll be coming back anytime soon.
Gonna pick up a Hori Daemon x Machina split pad, looks like a beefy piece of kit... -

That looks FUCKING huge

They've taken the chopper out of Warzone I believe
-
• #22343
I'll agree that the helicopter deaths can do one, they should just not let them take off before everyone has landed at the start. But you really shouldn't be getting ran over by land vehicles at any point.
I think Warzone certainly has it's faults but for me they're just the same faults CoD has had from the start - maybe they're just so ingrained in me now I hardly notice them!
Think I'd find it difficult to go back to Apex Legends as I found it a bit lacking, I am tempted to see what Fortnite is like now as I haven't played it since they closed the servers at the end of one of the series a while ago.

Tried Prey? Excellent, if less scary and more 'actiony'. Preferred it to Alien Isolation myself.
Plus the Gloo gun is excellent.

Alien Isolation shat me up so much I turned it off.
I might pick it up for the Switch -
• #22346
Yeah, played that a while back and loved it. May actually try a replay if skyrim doesn't grab me again.

Downloaded GTA V on PC. Haven't played it since Xbox 360 in 2013. Wow, it's stood the test of time well. On PC it's like a totally different game with everything maxed out. The city is like a proper living breathing thing. Having a lot of fun replaying the story. Driving on a keyboard isn't actually bad at all either....

Got it for £1.50 on Steam last week on of their deals. Not really a horror fan at all but as it had lots of good reviews thought I'd give it a go. Hmm. Now I'm worried.
There are 2! Though the first was more PUBG related - now there's a general one:
