  • Is water cooling quieter that air?

  • Water cooling is more effective in most cases and should be much quieter because of that as the associated fans don't have to work as hard.

  • Water cooling means that you can transfer the heat from the CPU / GPU / north bridge /mosfet etc... to a larger, more efficient radiator, where you can use larger, slower & quieter fans.

    You can also avoid having air whistling through your case, across all sorts of cables & jagged edges.
