I persuaded my mum to dedicate half her greenhouse in 2015 to tomatillos. I remember they grew really huge, there was string everywhere to support them and they didn’t bare much fruit until November when the season had past. They were in no bigger than 10L, probably smaller actually. How big are your seedlings?
It was a hell of a pork chile verde.

Sorry just catching up on this now. Yes but outside. I don't know if it's the soil (heavy clay) but they seem to do much better than tomatoes outside for me. Stems can be a bit fragile but then you just stick them back in the earth and there is a good chance they will take. I used to live in a place where they were in all the shops so if I want to keep up with my green Chile habit I have to grow them.
Sorry about the doggo.
Does someone have experience growing tomatillos (Mexican green tomatoes)? I’m trying to figure out the smallest size pots they would need to be productive indoors. Most info I can find says to use 20L pots, but I’m hoping to get as many plants as possible, so 10 20L pots in my living room isn’t really an option. Happy to offer large seedlings as payment for advice, salsa if they actually produce.
