  • Never though I'm gonna find a mechanical keyboard topic over here.
Used QPAD MK-50 for a short while, then a Cherry MX Board 3.0 for a long while, which I utterly loved, but it took up so much space. Been rocking a Sharkoon PureWriter TKL for a year and a half (the clicky version), and I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm a sucker for low-profile, and this one doesn't have those stupid, uncomfortable, fully flat keycaps.

My setup has changed a lot since then, but you get the idea:

  • excellent! my setup is as below, after quite a lot of tidying up in search of that clean look whilst not wanting to blow money on expensive desk and new macbook just yet. The desk is an cheap old IKEA job, with some Muji plastic drawers added in the shelves. The desk drawer has a lock added to stop my 1yr old emptying it. Airpods on a cheap ebay find lightning dock, bonus being the stability when flipping them open to dial into a Zoom meeting or whatever. Work phone on permanent charge, forwards all calls and texts to my device. Screen is new and its all powered by 2012 MBP. cables are hidden as much as possible, the back of the desk looks like a minefield of self adhesive cable management pads 😅

Usually the K2 is on bt mode, but it's charging

I was thinking of selling the second hand Bose speaker to get a mini speaker or soundbar for under the monitor or something. Any suggestions on how to get good sound centered, but also keep it minimal?

Seagate storage - I've been thinking about velcroing under the desk along with the work phone , any reason why I shouldn't?

  • Nice setup, curious about the insulation tape.

  • All Them Witches!

Baffled by the space-saving keyboard yet the mousepad bigger than your screen, what's up with that?
