    So many custom bikes are so odd because the consumer wants something that doesn't exist on the market, and there's usually good reason why they're not available on the market. If you catch my drift.

  • I'm all for niche, I really liked that 650b Speedvagen with Zipps, mudguards, 3 cages and road geo for example. I also consider Rob English to be one of the very best in the business, and understand people do not go to him for the same reasons they would go to Chris Bishop or Dave Kirk.
    What I particularly do not like here is the paint job that is screaming for attention yet fails spectacularly.

    If the person who commissioned the bike likes it, then the paint job has succeeded spectacularly. It's their bike. If they like it, then the world is a better place for it being here because it will make them happy.
