Are fatbikes over?
The initial take-up boom is over. I imagine most people now regret their purchases. For the smaller group for whom a fattie really is a good idea, spares and upgrades are going to have to come from specialists who don't mind serving small volumes with even more SKUs than normal BBs and hubs.

Ison still have Halo fat bike wheels, and there's usually a range of parts on eBay at any given moment.
In answer to your other question, in my humble opinion they have gone the way of the 'fixie'. The trend is over but the fatbikes are still there to be enjoyed for those that want to ride them for fun rather than fashion.

Same applies for chainsets, BB's....seemingly a dearth of components on sale. Are fatbikes over?
