If I understand correctly from your description, the dimension n to the bottom of the 27.2 mm portion is 89mm i.e. it'll go 89mm into the frame which is about the minimum insertion depth of most seatposts.
235mm is presumably the total length up to the rail clamp...
i.e. if we've got the seatpost inserted a safe amount into the frame, the rails of the saddle will sit 146 mm above the seat clamp
