Yeah, or wiggly kids when moving off from traffic lights, which is our main worry regarding stability

This is my concern for my wife, got hit by a Range Rover a few years back and broke both wrists... really doesn’t have the strength to be fighting a cargo bike with moving load!

Prob worth doing a test ride with @BrickMan down your for a ebullitt and maybe some other models. Kinetics are also do some of the eCargo bike models and have demo bikes.
I'd say a bullitt wouldn't be large enough for 2kids plus shopping. On mine I can get three of those large bag for life shopping bags on the deck with the seat folded up.

Is always look and test a bullit, but that does look stable, it can’t fall over! That’s a bonus with heavy loads...
