I took quite a long time making sure my background is presentable. As long as I remember to shut the door in my home office, so no-one can see the scenes of devastation behind it.
One problem was getting my webcam at the right angle - perched on top of the monitors it was too high as my monitors are on arms which bring them up to eye-level. I solved that my repurposing a desk lamp I hadn't turned on for over a decade. Before and after:
I like the stand but I don't understand where you put the camera. In front of the screen so you can't see people properly but at least your eye line is right?
