  • We are starting with basic vanilla as that is all we have ingredients for in the house.

    Tomorrow I hit Sainsbury's and get extra cream and ingredients.

    I think you'll find that you're wrong there.

  • I generally find that the simpler recipes with just milk and cream are more enjoyable than the fiddly custard based ones. I guess it's an effort/result balance that will be different for individuals though.

    I just find the custard based ice creams too rich.

  • Vonshef one. I think the volume is 1.2l.

    It is a freezing unit, not one you need to freeze in the freezer.
