It also was only 32,000 gowns delivered.

Cabinet Office in full on "well how hard can it be?" effort at procurement. Its why NHS Suppplies staff have professional qualifications in purchasing and civil servants don't.

I also wonder how different things may have been had we joined the EU procurement scheme. But, you know, we’ve taken back control, innit.
