That's very good. I see your Dr Greger and raise you Dr Klaper, who talked about just this sort of thing (illnesses jumping the species barrier) in a speech I attended that he gave in London (and everywhere else) in the mid-1990s.
None of it is new, of course, as is nothing in the general field of cadaver-eating and animal abuse. It's still annoying how it has to be repeated all the time, but that's just the way it is.
I imagine the two know each other well.

I am sure you're right. Dr Klaper was one of reasons I made the switch - Watched this and that was that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3Sn0OwTAvc

Most recent doughnut attempt. Went for a chocolate glaze and I was happy with the outcome.

I ended up making a cake for my girlfriend's birthday. This recipe was actually super easy and didn't require any weird obscure ingredients. The sides are slightly over done but otherwise came out alright!
(Shame the birthday girl was too hungover to eat any on her actual birthday).

Ha, I guess that explains it.

in the fresh meat aisle
lol

Uh huh.
-
• #7792
There’s a small meat substitute section at the bottom of that aisle, for no obvious reason.

I think it's to show all the carnos there's alternatives, even if it's just for cutting down a bit.

You may well be right. Though it's not that helpful for people who're already not eating meat - there's the frozen veggie section and the chilled veggie section, you aren't really expecting the hidden extra section in the charnel house aisle, and there's some really good stuff there.

Took me ages to find them in Tesco!

I've never had pie in a can... guess now's my chance... https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/305832499
Turns out the balti pie is vegan too...

Yup the veganuary lot campaigned for it, same with putting alternatives next to dairy in Sainsburys
