Such a great bike and I really like the bars. If you ever want to sell them let me know, I’ve been wanting to try them for a long time.

What size neoclassic you after?
-

Thanks, there is something perfect about the proportions. Not as fast as the Hallett and irreplaceable so it doesn't get used much now.

First proper gravel ride and the week after...

Has anyone successfully removed decals from a ti frame? Some research recommends scotchbrite pads, anyone tried this?
-
• #1207
Depends entirely how they’re applied really. The decals on my Burls frames were just self adhesive and came unstuck when I had to give the bike some vigorous cleaning!
I actually prefer the look without them now.
Can you post a photo or two? Unless they’re sealed under lacquer there should be a way to get them off.... -

It's a kinesis racelight granfondo v2. Not sure how theyve been applied, some photos of the decals.

Interesting. They look like they've been painted on.
Maybe @hoops can help.... -

Hey there, is this the best option? The description is a bit frightening
:D. Any other solutions? -
• #1213
Nail varnish remover for removing decals, knock-off scotchbrite pads for touching up the brushed finish

Paint stripper would indeed work best from my experience.

Race trim with Bora Ultra 50 & P2M chainset;
And with Bora WTO 33 & P2M chainset:
I've ordered a new ti project, now awaiting their feedback on my design and we can get everyting rolling!

Some of you might remember me asking for recomendations for ti builders a while ago. This bike finally came to fruition today. Many thanks to Scherrit and Justin from Burls for sorting the geo and specs. Has been designed as a 'bike for life' with plenty of future planning. Steerer is uncut (big HT) and Scherrit will trim it after a couple of big shakedown rides. Safe to say hes very chuffed with it. Still needs a proper garmin mount and some di2 climbing switches but otherwise will be untouched for the next +10k km

Looks superb. Apart from the bar angle.

Comfort was definitely chosen over aesthetics. Who needs drops anyway -

what were some of the future planning and custom decisions? -
• #1224
Yes very. Get more flexy to slam the stem?

Rack mounts and 3rd bottle cage under downtube. He plans on doing some cross europe tours at some point so will come in handy. The chain/seat stays also flare outwards for 650b clearance, could potentially take 50c. Future planning is 44mm straight HT and 12mm thru axles which should be fine for the next 20ish years
Not WILDLY custom but geo is now perfect which was the most important thing. Scherrit couldnt find an otp frame he was happy with which forced custom
Very nice
