Not quite as steep as you may like, but worth a look: https://www.templecycles.co.uk/collections/parts-and-accessories/products/adventure-disc-frameset

cheers!
Temple Cycles keep coming up as sponsored ads in my Instagram feed and piqued my interest, but sadly that seat angle is too mellow.

well in answer to my own question Omnium Cargo's CXC bike seems to fit the bill for what I was looking for with a 74.9° seat tube angle!
https://omniumcargo.dk/omnium-cxc/
I've lusted over their MiniMax for a long while, but didn't know about the CXC.
I should have a frame arriving tomorrow.
I'm sure it will be an absolute tank in terms of weight, but I'm hopeful that having a bike that fits really well again will offset the lardyness.
Let's see...
Been glued to Google for the last few days and not coming up with the answers I need so thought I'd open up to the knowledge base here.
The best fitting bike I've ever had was a Kinesis Crosslight 4T and I'd still be happily riding around on it now had a chainstay not snapped.
I'm looking to replace it and I can't find anything that even gets close geometry wise.
It has 74.5° seat, 72.5° head, 58ctc virtual top tube,63cm ctt seat tube and 20.5cm headtube.
The steep seat angle really suits my leg proportions (I find 72° or less very problematic).
My budget is low, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a suitable second hand, steel cyclocross bike to transfer all parts on to, or else find a new frame/full build to build up with disc brakes and flat bars.
I was holding my breath for the On One Pickenflick steel, but this doesn't look likely to materialise for a long time now.
The Ribble CGR725 caught my eye in XL size, but the frame only price is beyond my means.

On the other end of the spectrum I was really drawn to the Decathlon Triban Rc500 flat bar in either L or XL, but I'm going by a 3rd party geometry chart and I'm reluctant to order something I can't see.
I know I'll upgrade or change most of the components fairly quickly, so this may be a false economy.
I also don't like the compact frame as my seat rail to BB measurement is 85 cm and that's a lot of force going through that low seat clamp cluster.

So if anyone knows of any non-boutique cross or adventure frames that offer a steep seat angle please point me that way.
Cheers
Thomas
