Has anyone changed their M handle bars to the S style or a bullhorn Style without changing the M stem to an S stem?
I would like to change my M handlebars but I don't really want the extra cost of adding a S stem for a further reach. I suppose I could get an extender as an alternative (https://www.rideabikes.com/product/bicycle/city/brompton/components---accessories/sf5-extendable-stem), but a bit unsightly.
Yes but it’s very low and short.
Why do you want to change? What are you looking to be different?
I'm gonna swap my regular M bars to the revised 'compact' ones and report back, should be simillar to the ride height of the S type without the need of a stem swap.
