Cool, but for the price of a Crust, shipping, and import duties, could have a custom built ( all theoretical of course, just got too much time on my hands, dream bike building passes time).

Even custom build nowadays in the UK is still a fair bit, like a frames build by a Belgian who doesn’t even files the braze cost way more.

Ha! You are not the only one idly popping crust frames into the basket and seeing what it would cost.
FWIW I found that if I put my actual address (rather than just UK) into the shipping calculator a third option for shipping popped up which as about $200. Still not cheap, plus import etc makes them extremely uncompetitive.
I am now trying to convince myself that I can make a surly pack rat about half as cool as a canti lightning bolt.

I reached out to Crust a while back and the owner said that the recommended price for UK shipping on the website was inaccurate. Best to arrange your own courier or drop them an email. Iirc it was around $200 before import duties.
