I've been low key after a Principia for a while, and just reflex bid and won a TSL frame on ebay. Clearly I didn't do much research, I'm realizing now that it's for 650c wheels. Cool?
On reflection, perhaps I can be forgiven for thinking it was roughly my size, the geometry at 52cm looks normal for a medium/large 700c frame. It def won't fit me, so I'm thinking of building it up as a nice but affordable commuter for a friend, but I'm unsure.. Any pointers?
Like can you run 26" wheels on these? I'm concerned that 650c will be annoyingly niche (tokyobike notwithstanding) for someone who just wants a useful bike.

I got a 650c Cannondale on here and some wheels for £100 on eBay. I also got a disc rear for about the same.
Keep your eyes peeled because bargains do crop up from time to time.
Sorry for a Cannondale photo in the Principia thread!

Nice, but that gearing might be a little high for a city bike.

Truuue we'll see what she says. Wheels are 650c so that makes the gearing a little lower

I'd buy this if I were in London.
Edit. actually gonna try and get my hands on it somehow. -

To me the frame felt quite delicate, far from heavy gauge. I would not be able to enjoy it with dents.

Were you successful?

Quite like the backstory of it being stolen then recovered though. When does that ever happen?!

Nah I bailed, too much faff and too many dents
Picked it up, now to put some choice upgrades!
