A friend managed to get it to the point he was hopsitalised with pneumonia but sufficiently isolate in a terraced house that his wife and two kids under 4 didn't catch it. He said it was fairly miserable as he didnt see them for several weeks and they just knocked on the door leaving a tray with his food and drinks on, so it is possible.
Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but...
We think my OH may have C19, is there any point in trying to isolate me and mini-H in the house from them?
We have a spare room I could sleep in, but in-house isolation seems so impractical and it's likely they caught it on Thursday, so I can't help feeling if we're going to get it the damage is already done.
