Every time I cancel now tv they ping an offer over or just Google a cheap offer. Sorta refuse to pay more than a few quid now as the apps infuriating.

Yes...always worth going through the cancellation process and choose 'can't afford it' as the reason. There's a few hoops they put in front of you...'Are you sure? You will miss these things', then 'We can offer you £offer' if you say you are sure, then 'We can offer you £betterOffer' if you say you're sure again.
Best we got was four months of movies for free, but Entertainment was frequently four to six months at £3.99. It's not as hassle-free as the deals they throw up around Black Friday (a year of Movies/Entertainment for £99 etc), but it's not much effort really.
