Had this yesterday and wasn't that impressed - like lots of pastry stouts the first couple of mouthfuls are tasty, but it gets a bit sickly as you go down the glass and it warms up.

I thought the bitterness of the coffee made it more like a 'proper' stout compared to those dessert stouts I guess you're talking about. I do love iced coffee though so perhaps this is more of a beer for me. Also, maybe I drink a lot faster :)

Maybe I just needed to have chilled it more - I thought it was more balanced at first. And not all of us have your ability to neck 440 ml of 9% ;)
